Their are some cities that can be processed out of the state office so please check note below to see if you qualify for that processing option.
State fees if it needs to be processed thru the State (see note below), which includes Federal Express return of the birth certificate, are $69.95 and $45 for each addional copies. If able to process out of the state office (see note below) then the state fees are $33.50 and $10 for each addional copy on average.

If you were born in the cities of Albany, Amherst, Buffalo, Hempstead, Huntington, Jamestown, Niskayuna, Rochester, Valley Stream or Watertown and you check emergency processing under addional options we can obtain the certificate from these cities in 3-5 business days.

Additional Requirements: Driver's license or your state issued identification card is required for any request not processed in the State office. (If unavailable follow instructions below) Only the certificate holder or parent may request certificate and must have birth certificate holders or parents name on the ship to address.
Rules for an adult that doesn't have State Id & was born in a State that requires ID.
The parent listed on the birth certificate must request the birth certificate for an adult that doesn't have Id & was born in a State that requires it. The parent should sign the form in both places and provide their ID. (The adult without the ID shouldn't sign the form or provide ID)
New York City's fees, which include Federal Express return of the birth certificate, are $33 and $15 for each addional copies.
